So if camera equipment and software wasn't expensive enough, I also enjoy model rocketry. I haven't done much of it in a very long time, the girls schedules and being out of work made it difficult to do much. I decided to do more of it this year even though scheduling and money are tight. I'm off to Fire in the Sky in Mansfield Washington for Memorial Day weekend. I won't be flying as much as taking a ton of pictures, I hope to be able to renew my level 1 certification and get a few flights on my rocket-glider. Sorry it took so long to get this up... First the bad. In late November all of my camera equipment was stolen out of the truck, the slimy bastard(s) took everything. camera, lenses, tripod, extra batteries and filters. EVERYTHING! The sad. A week later my dad was diagnosed with stomach cancer and given 3 months to live. He died in early February. :( So I've been a bit of a wreck... He was ready to go. I'll miss him, but he's not suffering anymore. I'm pretty sure I'll stop crying every time I think of him someday. as promised, the good news. My insurance covered most of the equipment. and now the happy news. With the insurance money

I have news.. happy, sad, good and bad.  No time to post now, but keep watching this space.
